C-Lab

Based on the market's specific needs, Funes de Rioja & Asociados and KPMG have jointly developed C-Lab, a product that enables to identify good labour practices and the grade and level of compliance with applicable regulations, thus reducing the risks derived from section 30, Act 20.744 -labour solidarity- and from non-compliance with social security regulations.

C-Lab is a certification system of human resources-related processes. It is composed of two complementary modules:

  • Management Quality
  • Compliance with Regulations

C-Lab is a product meant for:

  • Providers of goods and services who get an important competitive advantage through certification.
  • Contracting companies who are offered an efficient, economic and trustworthy way of outsourcing the control of their service providers.
  • Any company interested in obtaining this certification to consolidate its image in the market.

Based on the detection of market specific needs, Funes de Rioja & Asociados and KPMG have jointly developed this product that allows to determine good corporate labour practices and the degree and standard of compliance with applicable regulations, thus minimizing the contingencies derived from section 30, Law 20.744 on joint labour liability as well as those arising from non-compliance of social security regulations. C-Lab is a system of certification of processes related to the human resources management, setting the IRAM certification through IRAM REFERENCIAL REGULATION NĀ° 9 "Program of certification of labour relations compliance". The program can be applied both to organizations in general seeking to verify the degree of compliance with the minimum requirements in the labour and social security fields and also to the contractors of organizations, in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the legal regulatory framework. In both cases, the effective control of the human resources management processes is guaranteed.

C-Lab fulfills a twofold objective:

  • Show the labour quality of efficiently organized companies that comply with current and acceptable practices.
  • Based on a selective review, provide the companies hiring the services of third parties, an assessment of their compliance with the current labour standards, thus minimizing the contingencies inherent to the joint liability arising from non-compliance with the legal labour standards.
